FriendsPassing is a notification service that notifies a subscriber when a name on his Friends list appears in the public domain death notices of a designated newspaper.

Notification is by e-mail, unless otherwise agreed upon by FriendsPassing and the subscriber.

By subscribing and submitting a list of friends, the subscriber acknowledges that he or she may receive false notifications due to the similarity of person's names. Also, the subscriber acknowledges that he or she may not receive a notification upon the death of a friend due to errors of spelling, equipment malfunction, or other causes.

Neither Friends Passing Division, Wake Works, Inc., nor any of its employees or agents, warrants that the products of FriendsPassing will be error free.

A name entered for searching on the Nashville TENNESSEAN must be entered for each of the four pages listed for the TENNESSEAN and will count as four names against the number allowed for your subscription. The reason for this is the manner which the TENNESSEAN displays its on-line obituaries. They are displayed on separate web pages, usually four in number, and not in alphabetical order.

A few newspapers we list require a manual, daily interpretation. We will charge an additional annual fee of $5.00 per each of these papers a subscriber lists names against. We will inform the subscriber of any additional charge and allow the subscriber the choice of deleting those listings or paying the additional charges.

The subscriber, upon submission of his or her subscription fee, agrees that if he or she becomes dissatisfied, for any reason, with the service of FriendsPassing, that he or she will accept refund of the unused portion of his subscription and will make no further claim against FriendsPassing Division, Wake Works, Inc., or any of its employees or agents.

Guarantee:

FriendsPassing will refund the unused portion of your subscription if you become dissatisfied with FriendsPassing's performance for any reason. This refund will be 100% during the first month after the beginning (or renewal) of a subscription. During the 12th month of a subscription it will be 1/12th of the total subscription cost.
